A few pictures of guess who????? OMG she is precious!!!!!!

I have been to the zoo twice so far. Yesterday, Mei Lan and her Mom Lun Lun were in the hammock inside since it was a bit hot for them outside. Lani had just finished nursing and she climbed up to to her spot to take a nap.







Early this morning, they were in the outside habitat. Lani was busy playing while Lun Lun munched on bamboo.

The zoo also has a large gorilla troop. There are 4 babies. One set of twins and 2 others. The mother of the twins is very protective and does not seem to let them get very far (like Mosi and Sekani at the Little Rock Zoo). However, the another mother lets her son roam free and he is quite the character. His name is Gunther and he is the youngest of the troop.

This is one of the twins. He plays with another baby while Mom keeps him close by.

Little Gunther watches Dad while he watches over the group. The keepers say that Dad is very affectionate and playful with the young ones but only when they are inside. While outside he must keep vigile to keep everyone safe.
