I used to listen to country music all the time, but the lyrics got so stupid that I just could not bear it anymore.
However, I heard this girl singing on a commercial and really liked her voice, like old fashioned country. I checked it out on google and found this video.
From the words of song writer David Allen Coe--"I told him it was not the perfect country and western song because he hadn't said anything at all about momma, or trains, or trucks, or prison or gettin' drunk."
OK so it doesn't talk about these, but I think you will agree it is the perfect country song. (For those of you who hate country music, at least listen through the first 35 seconds!).
