According to the Jordan Times, the Pope drew quite a crowd in Amman (18,000!! wow). He did indeed bring along the Popemobile. He visited the primarily Christian town of Madaba where the famous Madaba Map is located. He also went to the top of Mt. Nebo and to the Baptism site on the Jordan River.
