Where is Arkansas?

For my new friends in Jordan (and most of the US population) I thought that I would show where I live. Arkansas is in the southern portion of the US, near Texas. I also marked Chicago for reference.





Here is a map of Arkansas. I live in the middle of the state in a town called Little Rock.
Dr. Rose, my instructor with the University of Arkansas, is in Fayetteville. That is about 3 hours away from me. The ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ shows where the mountains are in Arkansas. They are similar to the ones near Ajlun but with more trees.


Here are some pictures of my trip to one of the animal reserves in Jordan. I went with my friends Ahmad and Mohammad to see the gazelles and the deer. This area of Jordan is very hilly with trees. The temperature is much cooler as well.
